Culinary Boot Camp

It’s all in the name of “Love for Food”. We have put together a 11 week session that will take you back to the basics, learning all over again and remembering why you love being in the kitchen.

Your Boot Camp will run 1 Wednesday night a week, for 11 weeks 6-10 pm.

Culinary Boot Camp will include the following classes:

Knife Skills – how to prepare for your culinary experience. (1 class)

Stocks and Soups (1 class)

Sauces and Vegetable Cookery (2 classes)

Starches, Starches and More Starches!! (2 classes)

Poultry Passion (1 class)

Pork e Pig (1 class)

Where’s the Beef? (1 class)

Fish and Seafood (1 class)

Dessert…ahhhhh Dessert. (1 class)

– Classes are all hands on and interactive.
You will leave with an armful of great food and good ideas.
– No experience necessary.
– Please book your spot asap as classes do fill up quickly.

Cost per person is $998 all inclusive. This includes all 11 weeks of instruction and food. Tax receipts are available.

You will need to bring non-slip shoes (this is a must), your favourite knives, an apron, and freezer bags or medium food containers (to take home treats) to each class.

Note: We must have a minimum of 6 in the class to run this boot camp.

Cancellation: Liaison College may cancel the class at any time if there is not sufficient enrollment or in the case of imminent weather. A full refund will be made to all participants if the classes are cancelled by the school. Any cancellations less than 48 hours, made by a participating student, before the first class will not be refunded or transferable.

Allergies: Liaison College cannot guarantee any food allergies or sensitivities since the classes are held in an operational commercial kitchen facility. Students take the program at their own risk.

EMERGENCY PROCEDURE: In the event of a medical emergency, Liaison College staff is trained in basic first aid and is instructed to contact 911 immediately.

LIABILITY: There are inherent dangers in a commercial kitchen. Students hereby agree that they will not hold Liaison College or its instructors liable in the event of an accident. Students assume all responsibility for personal safety and conduct while at Liaison College Oakville or any Liaison College Campus. A waiver of liability will need to be signed to participate in the classes.

EQUIPMENT: Students must supply Non slip shoes. No open toed shoes are allowed in the kitchen. Please bring with you a paring knife, chef or favourite kitchen knife, a set of tongs, an apron or towel, and 2 large freezer bags or medium containers for your food.
