Mark began his love of food at an early age. With parents originally from New York and North Carolina, he was introduced to a diversity of foods and cooking methods as early as age 5. His deep appreciation for all types of foods, as well as regional cooking styles led him to begin his culinary career in his early teens.
Since then, Mark has been involved with many restaurants in the United States, as well as being the host of a long running television series titled “Even Guys Can Cook”. As the entrepreneur Mark entered into the Personal Chef Field, creating Dine-11, his own cooking and catering business. He has also worked as a Head/Executive Chef at establishments such as Crabby Joe’s and St. Jacob’s Place, as well as Orchard House Gourmet, where he served as Director of Operations.
Mark attended Liaison Culinary Arts College, where he graduated with honors, and received the President’s Award for his efforts. After years of working in the industry and honing his professional skills, he comes back to Liaison College to teach others how to feed their passion and realize their dream of becoming a culinary artist.
Mark’s Red Seal preparation, expertise and commitment to life-long learning make him a perfect fit as your Instructor here at Liaison College Oakville Campus.
