Lakeside a la Carte, the money was raised for the Burlington Teen Tour Band
On Sunday August 10, Liaison College in Oakville participated in Burlington’s Lakeside a la Carte festival. The areas restaurants, wineries and brewies donated their foods to help raise money for the Burlington Rotary Club.
Over 600 tickets were sold, the most ever in the 10 years the festival has been running.
Liaison College featured “Pulled BBQ Beef on Crustini with Horseradish Aioli, Crispy Onion and Cilantro Sprouts”. We went through 500 pieces in the first 1 1/2 hours. We were told throughout the day that we were the favourites!
